Driving across the moors through the Devon lanes, with hedgerows full of primroses made for a lovely start to a day at Morwellham which is a historic port on the river Tamar, complete with a mine railway.
There were Morris Dancers to entertain everyone, and all the stall holders had to dress in victorian attire, I discovered bonnets are prone to strangling you when the wind blows.
The sun shone and it was a very enjoyable day, one of the first real days of spring.
I met some lovely people including a coppersmith called 'Lesley Jane' who makes beautiful jewellery, her work can be found on www.lesley-jane.co.uk
Also Jenny who designs and knits her own knitwear in beautiful calming shades with very pretty unusual buttons, her work is on www.jensondesigns.co.uk
